Apollo Just Wants to Be Your One and Only 💙

Apollo is doing amazing and is such a lovable, high-energy guy! He’s happy, playful, and full of life—but he also knows how to settle in for snuggles. The second you sit down, he’s right there, ready to be your lap dog and soak up all the love and attention.

Apollo enjoys playing with other dogs

Apollo is doing amazing and is such a lovable, high-energy guy! He’s happy, playful, and full of life—but he also knows how to settle in for snuggles. The second you sit down, he’s right there, ready to be your lap dog and soak up all the love and attention.

Apollo enjoys playing with other dogs, but if he had his way, he’d have his people all to himself. Because of this, he would truly thrive as the only dog in the home, where he can be the center of attention and not have to share his favorite humans. Apollo would likely do well with kids. He loves toys, enjoys playtime, and has that fun, affectionate personality that makes him such a great companion.

If you’re looking for a playful, energetic, and incredibly snuggly best friend, Apollo might just be your perfect match 💙🐾

❤️Meet Bailey, our little MDAS survivor 💪🏽

Bailey is an approximately 2-year-old French Bulldog who beat the odds at Miami Dade Animal Services and is finally getting her chance at the life she always deserved. After everything she’s been through, she’s ready for the good part to begin—and she’s going to make an incredibly lucky family very happy.

One look at her adorable little “eyebrows” and those big, soulful eyes and you’re done for.

✨ Bailey is:

  • 🐾 Sweet, snuggly, and deeply people-oriented
  • 🐾 Gentle and wonderful with kids
  • 🐾 Social and good with other dogs

Despite her rough start, Bailey’s spirit shines. She greets life with happy wiggles, soft kisses, and a calm, loving presence that makes everyone around her feel special. She doesn’t ask for much—just a warm bed, a few toys, steady meals, and a family who will love her as much as she loves them.

ADOPTION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

PLEASE NOTE: All adopters must be within 3-hours of Long Island, New York

If you're interested in adopting a Bulldog through Hurley’s Heart Bulldog Rescue, please follow these steps:

  1. Read Our Policies and Procedures: We take the rehoming of these precious dogs very seriously. Please familiarize yourself with our guidelines before proceeding.
  2. Adoption Process:
    • Application: There is a $20 donation, which helps cover the costs of processing your application. This donation can be paid through Venmo @Hurleysheart-Bulldogrescue. Please include "ADOPTION APP" and your email in the notes.
    • Application Form: Once we receive your donation, we will send you an application form. Please complete it in full and email it back to us so we can start processing your application.

Please note that we do not ship Bulldogs. You must be prepared to drive to pick up your new furry family member once you have been approved.

Thank you for considering adoption through Hurley’s Heart Bulldog Rescue. Your support means the world to us and to these wonderful dogs.

Please take note of the following:

  • Adoption Application and Adoption Donation are NON-REFUNDABLE – NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • It's crucial to fill out your application completely, providing as much information as possible about yourself. This information helps us match you with the right dog. Incomplete or dishonest applications will be discarded without further notice. Ensure that no question is left unanswered. If a question doesn't apply to you, please fill in the blank with "Not Applicable" or "N/A."

Things to consider before applying:

  • Applicants must be 24 years old or older.
  • Our volunteers and foster families have busy lives, so please be patient. We will respond as soon as possible.
  • All dogs must live inside the home as family members. If you cannot commit to this, please do not apply.
  • We do not allow chaining dogs outside.
  • All animals in the prospective adoptive family must be spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on heartworm prevention.
  • We prefer homes with fenced yards and pools, but we understand that each home is unique, and we consider this when selecting a match.
  • We do not reserve dogs. Once you are approved, we will not hold a dog in a foster home for you. It's essential to be prepared and approved before you find a dog you want to adopt.
  • Remember, rescue dogs require patience, whether it's with house training, getting along with other pets, or settling in. Be prepared to give them the time they need to adjust to your home and family.

Your adoption donation plays a crucial role in covering various expenses, including:

  • Spaying & Neutering
  • Vaccinations (including rabies)
  • Microchipping
  • Veterinary visits and exams
  • X-rays (if needed)
  • Medications
  • Boarding
  • Food
  • Professional grooming (if needed)
  • Saving New Lives!

Additionally, your donation helps feed, house, and provide veterinary care for dogs still awaiting adoption. It's important to note that adoption donations are non-refundable.

By donating, you're not purchasing a dog; you're contributing to a rescue's mission to save lives. Thank you for opening your home and heart to a rescued Bulldog.
