Foster Program

 Hurley's Heart Bulldog Rescue is in need of compassionate fosters to join our program! We have many dogs eagerly waiting to come into our rescue, and we need families willing to open their homes to them, giving these wonderful dogs the start of their new lives.

We are looking for both short-term and long-term foster homes. Most of our dogs find their forever homes quickly with pre-approved adopters. However, we like to give each dog some time in foster care so we can get to know their personalities and ensure they find the perfect fit. We also take in seniors, special needs dogs, and those with quirky behaviors that require specialized placement. These dogs may need a longer stay, making them suitable for long-term foster care.All expenses associated with fostering, including food, vetting, and supplies, are covered by the rescue. All you need to provide is a loving home and a big heart!

We are currently accepting foster applications from the Long Island, NY area, as well as Fairfield County and New Haven County areas in Connecticut, where our partner vets are located. We may also consider neighboring areas for dogs needing longer-term or specialized care.
